Out with it lad
I am a freelance designer with over 10 years experience within the graphic design industry. I was a founding director and designer at Styrofirm, one of New Zealand's leading creative agencies for 6 years, an experience which was great fun and broadened my expertise immensely.
This portfolio contains a selection of my work during this time and beyond.
If you're looking for a hard working, skilled and very down-to-Earth designer then look no further.

Interview on mcville
I'm quite a shy person and generally don't like a lot of attention, but I've just done an email interview over at mcville which you might want to go have a read of.

What's my vibe?
I dismissed Twitter early on because I couldn't see any benefit to reading what people, mostly strangers to me, are doing throughout the day. I'm not totally convinced it's not a waste of my time, but it is quite interesting, in a voyeuristic way. I think the clincher for me was being able to read what some of the top designers and bloggers are up to and getting a little bit of inside knowledge on what makes them successful. If you're signed up then feel free to 'follow' me.
I'm really digging NetVibes right now. I'm not totally convinced that web-applications are going to take over any time soon (I'm cursed by too much internet downtime) and I'd never thought I'd find web-based widgets so handy, but NetVibes has done it for me.. for now anyway.

OMG Posters! - too many great art prints and not enough wall-space. Curses! Also check out Tiny Showcase and BlueFlip Art.
NetVibes - I have my To-Do lists, Flickr feeds, YouTube feed, newsfeeds, Chinese lessons, delicious links, calendar and weather all tightly bundled as my start page and it all works so nicely!
I'm a tech news junkie and I have Digg feeding straight into my mainline. Popurls is also a daily fix.
BoingBoing is my favourite all-round blog with all that's weird, wonderful and messed up in the world.
Neil Swabb is one sick man, which makes his comics some of the best you'll ever find. Be sure to read Mr.Wiggles from #1.
It's not always easy being a freelancer but I've garnered plenty of useful tips from Freelance Switch. I particularly fond of this post :P
